The Valdez Museum & Historical Archive offers visitors a wonderful opportunity to learn about rich history of Valdez. This downtown Valdez Museum is home to permanent historical exhibits including: They Came for Gold, Disaster on Good Friday, A Beacon from the Past, Richardson Highway and The Exxon Valdez Oil Spill. The A New Valdez exhibit provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about this Alaskan city.
